Company of Cooks
My role within Company of Cooks is the Sales & Marketing Manager of Ironmongers’ Hall. My role oversees all commercial event sales and the marketing strategy for the venue, whilst supporting our wider portfolio of Livery Halls, to streamline marketing strategy and share best practices to help maximise event sales.

My ambitions for the future are to grow further with CH&CO, with the hopes of managing a larger pool of team members – using my experiences to nurture incoming talent so that they have the tools to flourish, grow in confidence and become future hospitality industry-rising stars.

In my current role as Bristol Accounts Manager for BaxterStorey I oversee 10 locations around the city. I look after 9 clients, 7 managers and a further 37 amazing team members. The role is really diverse; it keeps me on my toes and gives me plenty of opportunity to roll up my sleeves and muck in with my team. The post-pandemic world has been a wild ride for a lot of us and it’s been a privilege to be a part of the industry as it bounces back. As clients downsize their premises, our spaces have also been downsized. I love the challenges of small but mighty work-place catering, and I firmly believe that our creativity shouldn’t be bound by the square metres that we occupy. I’m really excited to be able to play a part in developing a modern style of contract catering and I can’t wait to see what we do next!

As Executive Head Chef at one of our most prestigious locations – AstraZeneca 2 Pancras Square, I lead the Food Services for AZ customer dining, full hospitality offer and fine dining experience for the AZ Executive SLT & Board of Directors. When designing my innovative menus, sustainability and seasonality is always a priority. I also manage my own P&L and fantastic team. Personal development is very important to me, alongside also growing and developing my team. Recently I got the bug for competing, achieving a Gold medal and second place in my first Sodexo Chef of the Year competition!

Green & Fortune
As Marketing Manager for Green & Fortune, no two days are the same. I love the variety from managing the social media strategy across 21 channels, full responsibility for updates across 6 websites, completing the entire design portfolio for all retail outlets and supporting the design of event collateral, alongside delivering and executing marketing campaigns for 7 individual brands. I love the collaborative team spirit and working across multiple departments to bring the marketing strategy to life. I would love the opportunity to develop into a senior marketing role within five years, working across new openings and managing a team.

I currently represent the largest venue portfolio operated by a single caterer as Head of Venue Sales. I lead the venues sales across the Go Ask eve portfolio and central eve team, overseeing strategic marketing plans for the venue teams and driving central strategy across the portfolio. My ambitions for the future are to continue evolving hospitality standards, fostering a culture which prioritises personal and professional development, in an inclusive environment that considers wellbeing in the same conversation as performance. I’d like to progress myself, leading a department that revolutionises client experience and how we market our brands.

BM Caterers
At BM Caterers, I have the privilege of promoting nutrition through engaging roadshows and effective communication tools. My role involves supporting customers, clients, and the BM family in making informed choices. This includes creating delicious and nutritious menus using local seasonal ingredients, analysing recipes, and ensuring compliance with allergens, Natasha's Law, and calorie legislation. These efforts contribute to BM's sustainability and reinforce our commitment to healthy eating strategies. As a nutritionist, I understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healthy eating and the controversies surrounding dietary guidelines. Going forward, I aim to demystify nutrition, making it relatable and more accessible for all, fostering a culture of enjoyable and informed eating.

As Sustainability Business Partner for CH&CO I work across our multiple brands to help our sites and people deliver our ambitious sustainability strategy on the ground. From Buckingham Palace to our state schools, we have a responsibility to feed people tasty, delicious food that is good for their health and doesn’t compromise the future of our planet. Nothing makes me happier at work than to see people get excited about sustainability, and I want to keep making that happen through purpose-led work with large food organizations which has measurable, tangible impacts on making the world a better place, bit by bit.

I love working as a general manager for a city law firm. I have a fantastic team who I love to develop whilst providing the best possible service to our client. I would like to continue my growth in contract catering & progress to operations manager so I can help develop other managers. Another ambition, and something I feel passionate about, is to honour and build on my late father’s legacy as a highly regarded chef and previous Acorn winner, by creating an organisation that helps disadvantaged people learn catering skills, providing them with a pathway into the hospitality industry.

As GM I wear many hats, from HR to Finance, Sustainability to Compliance, and everything in-between. With a background both as a chef and in front of house I use my experience to keep both FOH & BOH in harmony. I also immerse myself in my client’s culture by being part of both the LGBTQIA+ and sustainability networks. My motto has always been ‘Don’t ask someone to do something which you wouldn’t do yourself’. In the future I would love to move into an operations role with Vacherin, whilst also continuing to support students studying catering at colleges and universities.
