The ACE Robyns Award was created by the ACE committee in memory of Robyn Jones OBE, founder of CH&Co, who sadly died in September 2015. Robyn was known for her tireless work in the mentoring, training and development of young talent.

Recognising an Outstanding Contribution to the
Foodservice Industry

The award recognises up-and-coming talent in all aspects of contract catering, from chefs to marketers and from butlers to business development staff. The awards are open to talented team members aged 35 and under who truly have what it takes to make a real difference in the industry, whether that’s cooking, serving or driving a business forward.

They could be in operations, sales, training, marketing, personnel or any sector of our business. They are the person who has gone that extra mile, either within their present role or to get to where they are now.

Entry Requirements & Conditions

Award Conditions

Nominees must be employed in the UK Contract Catering and Foodservice industry.
Working across any sector of the industry:-

  • Business & Industry
  • Healthcare
  • Defence
  • Education
  • Sports & Leisure
  • Commercial and events

Nominees must be under the age of 35 as of 10th July 2019.
The closing date for nominations is Friday 10th May 2019
Judging will take place in June 2019
The finalists will be notified week commencing 10th June 2019
Winners must be available to attend the “ACE Robyns” Award ceremony presentation which will take place at the ACE Summer event on Wednesday 10th July at King's Place London.
Incomplete nominations will not be considered.
Self-nominations will not be accepted.


Entry Requirements

  • All 5 questions must be answered in no more than 250 words per answer. (Exceeding the word count may lead to your entry being disqualified, so please add a word count).

  • Please ensure you attach their CV in WORD format and that it is no longer than 1 page, together with a jpeg head and shoulders photograph of the nominee.

  • Entries must be submitted and authorised by the nominator. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

  • If attaching supporting documents for your nominee please ensure you attach no more than 3 pages of material in total.


How To Enter

Entrants and managers have until 10th May to submit their entry or nomination.

Shortlisted entrants will be invited to the awards presentation which will take place on Wednesday 10th July at King’s Place, London, where the winner will be announced.
